Thursday Night Football is here, and we got a good one on our hands.
Two division winners, and two of the hottest teams in football.
The Saints have won ten in a row (can you believe their only loss was in Week 1 to FitzMagic and the Bucs?!)
Meanwhile, Dallas is on a three-game win streak themselves, and currently hold first place in the AFC East.
Right now the line for this game is Saints -7.5.
Dallas HAS to jump out to an early lead. Most teams fall down two scores to Brees and the Saints and the game is effectively over.
That will certainly be the case for a Cowboys offense that is not explosive whatsoever. They like to dominate the time of possession and pound it on the ground with Ezekiel Elliott.
The problem? That won’t work when you’re down two scores and will need plays in huge chunks to catch up.
Plus, we can’t be for certain that Elliott will even be able to rush for 100 yards in a fourth straight game. The Saints possess the best rush defense in the league, only allowing 3.6 rush yards a carry.
I think people are getting a little too excited over Dak Prescott’s Thanksgiving performance. In my eyes, he’s still a game manager and a C+ quarterback at best.
DeMarcus Lawrence and the Cowboys are really going to need to “choke their asses out” if they want a shot in this one.
Saints by 10+.
