Roger Goodell speaks on why Colin Kaepernick hasn’t signed

Today at Super Bowl media week in Atlanta , Roger Goodell was asked a question regarding Colin Kaepernick.

Because, in 2019, that is still the hot-button topic in the NFL apparently.

Kaepernick hasn’t played a snap in the NFL since 2016, but filed a grievance case against the NFL in 2017, alleging collusion with the owners to prevent him from signing.

Kaepernick holds a career QB rating of 88.9, averaging 177.8 throwing yards a game from 2011-2016.

Maybe, just maybe, Kaepernick hasn’t signed because he’s not worth the political/media distraction as a backup or third-string QB.
