A few hours ago, it was announced that former NFL quarterback Wade Wilson passed away on his birthday at the age of 60. The cause of death is still unknown at this time.

Wilson spent nearly 40 years in the NFL as a quarterback and QB coach. In 1988, Wilson made the Pro Bowl as Minnesota Viking, and led the league in completion percentage. He also won a Super Bowl with the Cowboys in 1996 as a backup behind Troy Aikman.

The Texas native had two stints as the QB coach in Dallas, and one in Chicago. He was a part of the 06 Bears team that made a Super Bowl appearance but ultimately fell short to the Colts.
