Bryce Harper met with the Giants this week

MLB.com – Giants executives met with six-time All-Star Bryce Harper this week, according to a report from MLB Network insider Jon Heyman. Team president and CEO Larry Baer, president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi and manager Bruce Bochy were among those present for the meeting, per Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area.

Can you imagine Harper in the Bay Area?

I mean, he wouldn’t have to deal with former Giants reliever Hunter Strickland. That guy is now in the American League as a member of the Mariners bullpen…

But really, if Harper says F You to the Phillies and signs with the Giants, seeing dingers like this to McCovey Cove would be a delight…

Barry Bonds holds the record of 35 “splash” home runs to the cove. I could see Harper easily passing the big guy if he signs a long term deal in San Francisco.
