The Boston Red sox are scheduled to visit the White House on May 9th, but many notable players won’t be attending.

AL MVP Mookie Betts, Rafael Devers, and Jackie Bradley Jr. won’t be going. But Bradley Jr’s reasons aren’t political:

Bradley Jr played a key part in the Red Sox’s World Series Championship.

The 28-year-old outfielder caught fire in the 2018 ALCS, hitting two home runs, and accumulating 9 RBI’s in five games. He was named the MVP of that series.
