Three Must-Watch CBB Games This Weekend

Another great weekend in college basketball is upon us.

Here are three must watch games this weekend:

#1 Tennessee @ #5 Kentucky

Kentucky is coming off a controversial loss to LSU at home, and since they’re only four days removed from it, I would think it still stings. The Cats are now third in the SEC, behind the Tigers and the Vols and need a win Saturday to have any chance of staying in the race.

Tennessee has something to prove. The Vols are on a 19 game winning streak, but haven’t played a top 25 opponent since Gonzaga back in early December. The Vols are a great team, but they will definitely be tested tomorrow night in Rupp Arena.

#24 Maryland @ #6 Michigan

The Wolverines are coming off a bad loss against Penn State Tuesday night and need to bounce back against a top 25 opponent tomorrow.

Maryland on the other hand is currently a 6-seed in Virginia’s region. A win tomorrow would definitely give the Terrapins a boost in the rankings and seeding.

Clemson @ #16 Louisville

You might be thinking “really? Why this game?” and I would understand why. I’m throwing this game into the three because Louisville is coming off an epic collapse against Duke and it will be very interesting to see how they respond.

Do they put their heads down and finish the season strong? Or, do they let Duke beat them again and collapse down the home stretch.

Clemson is a 10-seed right now and would really benefit from an “upset” over the Cardinals.
