Trump’s announcement came after Betsy DeVos defended the proposal that would cut $18 million in backing.

Restoring and not cutting funding for the Special Olympics is huge, and affects so many athletes.

Like the all-time leader in the NFL for yards per carry — Jamaal Charles.

Charles was diagnosed with a learning disability as a kid, and had difficulty reading growing up.

The 4x NFL Pro Bowler even competed in the Special Olympics in 2015.
