Kentucky is trying to work out a date to visit Kerry Blackshear Jr.

We are now passed the NBA Draft announcements with the more important ones coming in a month or so. But, Kentucky fans now have something to keep themselves busy with the Kerry Blackshear recruitment.

A week ago, Blackshear Jr. entered the transfer portal, which got UK fans’ attention, as he is the top grad-transfer on the market, and could be the player that completes the 2019-2020 roster.

Right when there were rumors that Kentucky was in the running for the grad-transfer, Kerry Blackshear Sr. stepped in saying that Kentucky hadn’t made any gains to get Blackshear.

The Blackshear family hosted John Calipari for an in-home visit. But, for the second time, Blackshear Sr. denied the report, saying “that wasn’t the case” but said that the two sides were “working on a date.”

I’m not saying I don’t want the kid, but there are already some very early signs that Blackshear Sr. might be trouble.
