Money In The Bank Preview and Predictions

It’s that time of year once again on the WWE calendar. The Money In The Bank PPV is one of the fan favorites and rightfully so. Money In The Bank is one of the most unpredictable shows of the year and it’s time for some predictions.

WWE Universal Championship: (c)Seth Rollins vs A.J. Styles

This is a dream match in most of the fans eyes. This should be a great match but will only be a good match because the WWE likes to drag on storylines and won’t let them show everything right away.

A.J. Styles will win the Universal Championship at some point this year but not at Money In The Bank. Seth Rollins will retain on his first title defense, beating the beast Brock Lesnar.

WWE Heavyweight Championship: (c) Kofi Kingston vs Kevin Owens

Kofi Mania is over and is starting to lose momentum. Kofi Kingston had his moment at Wrestlemania and now it is time to give up the title.

Vince McMahon hates having babyface champions and Kevin Owens is the perfect heel. Kofi Kingston will lose probably in a fun finish caused by “The New” Daniel Bryan.

Raw Women’s championship matches: Raw(c) Becky Lynch vs Lacey Evans

Becky Lynch is still on fire and the best woman in the WWE. Lacey Evans is a future champion but it is to early for her. Look for Becky to retain in her first match.

Smackdown Women’s Championship: (c)Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair

Yes, another match between these two women. This will be Becky’s 2nd match of the night and she will be worn down, tired and beaten.

This seems to be a setup for the Women’s Money In The Bank winner to run in late match and steal the victory and Smackdown Title away from Becky Lynch.

Lynch having both titles and being on two shows is just too much exposure of her and draws less interest. Keep her on the Raw brand.

Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Braun Strowman, Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Finn Balor, Mustafa Ali, Andrade and Randy Orton

This will be a great and exciting match. Have to give credit where credit is due. The WWE did a great job mixing different types of wrestlers here. We have some of the best giants and high flyers.

With that said I’m picking Mustafa Ali to win this match. He was supposed to be the man in the position Kofi Kingston is in right now, but got injured and had to wait his turn.

He’s healthy and I believe Vince is going to give him a monster push, especially with the WWE heading to Saudi Arabia in a few months.

Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Naomi, Natalia, Dana Brooke, Mandy Rose, Ember Moon and Carmella

This match seems to be pretty hard to predict mostly because most of these women have a chance to win but almost all of them have been buried by WWE creative.

With that being said my pick is Ember Moon. WWE needs to start building some of there younger talent and Ember Moon is coming off injury and is one of the most popular woman in the division and will most definitely be a future champion.

Roman Reigns vs Elias

The Big Dog Wins, and it won’t be close.

The Miz vs Shane McMahon

The Miz gets payback in this steel cage match. Would make zero sense for Shane to go over again.

Woman’s Tag Team Championships: The Iconics vs Asuka and Kairi Sane

These titles need to be built back up with believable champions. Asuka and Sane demolish the Iconics and become new champions.

United States Championship: (c) Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio

A rematch that happened at WrestleMania. Same outcome though with a better fight from Mysterio. Samoa Joe retains.
