Since my lock of the century was rained out this week, tonight’s ballgame between the Red Sox and Astros is going to replace it.
I’ve never seen a matchup so skewed in favour of one team.
Chris Sale takes the mound today for Boston and has limited the Astros to a batting average of just .206 in 136 plate appearances.
Meanwhile, former Red Sox lefty Wade Miley will be on the bump for Houston, and hasn’t faired well against Boston hitters in the past.
Mookie Betts and Steve Pearce absolutely dominate the southpaw, and the team altogether hits to a slash line of .337/.402/.620 off of him in almost 100 AB’s.
Not only should Boston win, but this should be a blow-out tonight.
